Roxatone is sprayed using 2 coats. First coat is a high pressure "shear coat" and the Second coat is a lower air pressure "pattern coat"

For a Roxatone Standard color chosen from the "quick-Ship" color chart, a 2 gallon minimum order is required. The price for 2 gal's is $175.00 / gallon.
Roxatone colors chosen from the 100 series color-chart start at $155.00 / gallon for the minimum order amount of 5 gallons. The price is reduced for increased quantity.

Yes it can be applied to fiberglass with the appropriate primer and surface preparation.
Epoxy primer is the best option for fiberglass prior to the Roxatone Aviation finish. On projects where the surface has already been coated a single componant acrylic waterbased bonding primer is sufficient.
Absolutely, the Aviation product is specifically designed for application on interior walls and panels of airplanes. It is also frequently used in the Lavatories as well.
No. This product must be sprayed.
A pressure feed cup gun with a quart pot attached is the best method for applying Roxatone Aviation. It can also be applied using a HVLP sprayer however it is recommended that the primer be tinted if using this type of spray equipment.
If your sprayer has a tip (nozzle) size of 1.8 or larger you are ready to spray.
2 coats. The best method of application is to apply the 1st coat at high air pressure, wait for the 1st coat to dry then apply the second coat at a lower air pressure.
The first coat should be applied at a higher air pressure than the second coat. Ideally the first coat should be applied between 50 - 60 psi and the second coat should be applied at between 40 - 50 psi.
Only if the product is being used for marine use or areas that receive a high amount of difficult conditions such as moisture, heat, or extreme handling.
Yes! Roxatone Aviation is a interior / exterior waterbased coating that can be applied to all surfaces that require a durable, decorative coating. It has been used in Sports Facilities, Bus and Train interiors, Airstream restoration projects, Public washrooms, Aviation and Automotive projects as well. It is also great for Exterior application on projects requiring that unique decorative quality combined with exceptional durability.

Roxatone Aviation can be used on a boat in areas not receiving excessive water contact. Roxatone Aviation is not recommended for use under the water line, floors, horizontal surfaces that are prone to water pooling, or any area of the boat that will get excessive water contact. For the areas noted above, a marine type clear-coat is strongly advised.
For best resulys apply Roxatone using a conventional spray set-up. This includes a pressure pot, spray gun with internal-mix tip, and air compressor.
Spray tip should be between 1.6mm - 2.2mm
